Quick DIY Room Spray:
1 cup water
1/4 cup alcohol
10 drops of essential oils
Combine water and alcohol, shake.
Add essential oil drops.
Note: Mixes using citrus oils should be stored in glass bottles. Shop Atkinsons for glass jars and bottles in the Wood River Valley.
Harvest your Jalapenos
Peppers are an integral part of numerous cuisines worldwide. Their international appeal ranges from the sweet varieties such as bell peppers to the hot varieties such as chile (we love these!). Pepper plants are a popular vegetable to grow in gardens and planters on the patio. Here are Rasberry’s we use roast poblano peppers for our signature Chile Rellenos dish, habanero peppers, ancho peppers and others are used to make our signature enchilada sauce, and of course jalapenos in our famous guacamole. A local Wood River Valley client asked recently for some ideas for her abundant jalapeno crop this summer.

Old School Popcorn Recipe
Use a large, thin pot with a lid that allows for expansion. Choose a pot with a large surface area, but not one that is too deep.
Add 3 tablespoons of Nutiva Organic Coconut Oil – butter flavored of course, to the pan.
To test the temperature add 3 kernels of corn and allow to pop. Once they pop you know the oil has reached the proper temperature.
Remove popped kernels with a pair of tongs and set aside.
Add 1/3 cup of popcorn to the pan, return to heat, cover with lid and shake, shake, shake as the kernels begin to pop.
Empty the popcorn into a big bowl.
Melt 2 tablespoons more of the butter-flavored coconut oil in the hot pan off of heat and lightly coat the popcorn. This will allow the seasonings to adhere.
Shake salt, Rasberrys Jalapeno Ranch, Rasberrys Everything Bagel or whatever your favorite seasonings are. Enjoy!
