Due to the time required to prepare custom menus, Rasberrys does not engage in any competitive bidding. For those clients who do choose to work with Rasberrys for their event we will gladly provide a detailed quote to assist with budgeting.

Quotes will include itemized charges for all food & beverages: rentals, including china, glassware, flat ware, linens, etc.; labor costs, such as serving staff and kitchen staff; as well as all taxes and gratuities.

We are, of course, happy to answer any general questions you may have regarding “typical” costs for our food and services to assist you in considering us during your planning process. As a prospective client, we simply ask you to provide us some general information to work with, beginning with the date of your event so we can determine our availability. Other useful information includes the nature and size of your event, the type of menu you desire, the level of service you are anticipating (pick-up, delivery, fully staffed, etc.), as well as the prospective location, and any budgeting information you may have (if available).

Payment, Taxes & Gratuity

A 50% deposit is required for all custom orders or events and to secure your date.  The deposit will be credited to the final bill.  A credit card, check or cash is accepted as payment for deposits and final payment.  The balance is due within one week of the event, or once you receive the final bill. We will gladly accept your company or personal check. For custom catering orders and events paid for by credit card a 4% surcharge will be added.

Idaho State Sales Tax & City Sales Tax of 8%, combined, is charged on all food, non alcoholic beverage and service/rentals.  Alcohol (Wine & Beer) Tax will be charged at 9%

A gratuity of 20% of the total charges will be added to the final bill for all events requiring on site staff.  A gratuity of 15% will be added to all pick up or delivered catering orders.  A 12% delivery fee will also be applied to all delivered/drop off events.

Hourly Rate

Rasberrys’ staff are all professional chefs, servers and /or bartenders.  We pride ourselves on the level of professionalism and attention to detail at every event.  Our on-site staff charge ranges between $45-55 per hour for each of our Service Staff, and $50-75 per hour for each Chef or member of the Kitchen.  All payroll taxes and insurance charges are included.

We bill for all staffing (both kitchen and service) from the time we leave our kitchens until we leave the site of your event. 

Service Staff

We will staff the event according to the demands of the menu and the timing of the style of service desired. We require one server for every 25 guests for buffet service, or one server for every 12 guests for a seated, plated and served menu. Our staffing includes kitchen staff, servers, bartenders, busers, and set up and cleanup crew.  Rasberrys may make adjustments to the number of staff required depending on the level of the event and service requirements needed.

Head Chef(s) charges are $90 per hour.  Head Bartender charges are $90 per hour.

All payroll taxes and insurance charges are included.

We bill for all staffing (both kitchen and service) from the time we leave our kitchens until we leave the site of your event.


We will arrange for all the necessary rental items for fully catered events.  These charges will be included in your quote and on your bill.

Wine & Beer Service

Beer and wine service is available through Rasberrys, and will be quoted and priced separately.  Rasberrys will work with local distributors to help pair great wine and beer for your custom menu.

Service Area

Rasberrys is located in Ketchum, Idaho.  We provide service primarily in the Sun Valley area.  We have provided event services in Stanley and south of Bellevue.  Please speak to us directly regarding destination events.
